The Red Pen Tool (RPT) is a Flash based application which enables the digital conversion, assessment and annotation of students’ coursework. Markers can append notes, highlights, comments and audio comments to specific positions on a piece of work. The application also loads one or more mark schemes which are associated with the work and also encourages a collaborative process by enabling multiple markers to annotate the same piece of work.
